We are seeking energetic, confident, and sports‑oriented individuals to join our onboard Sports & Recreation Team. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy leading activities, engaging guests, and creating fun and inclusive experiences at sea.
As Sports Staff, you will lead a variety of onboard sports and recreational programs, including FlowRider® surfing, basketball, ping‑pong, and other guest activities, while ensuring safety and delivering excellent guest service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate onboard sports and recreational activities
- Host and facilitate FlowRider® sessions and other signature attractions
- Engage guests of all ages, including families, children, and adults
- Confidently speak on a microphone and lead group activities
- Ensure safety procedures are followed and manage guest behavior
- Support multiple activities based on daily operational needs
Qualifications
- Background in sports or recreational activities
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Hands‑on experience in multiple team sports
- (e.g., basketball, volleyball, golf, pickleball, or similar activities)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable in a guest‑facing role and leading group activities
- CPR or Lifesaving certification is preferred
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience working with groups (families, adults, children)
- Comfortable hosting activities and speaking in front of guests
- Ability to manage safety and crowd behavior
- Flexible and willing to support various onboard activities
- Positive, energetic, and professional attitude
