Your Purpose

The Purchasing Agent  Explora Journeys manages the ordering process, providing business support to the Explora Journeys ship operations in terms of Supply Chain for F&B and Hotel materials.

Your Impact

• Ensure the creation of Purchase Order respecting deadline
• Relation with suppliers and web ordering management and Perform expediting activities
• Search goods from secondary suppliers or port in collaboration with the category buyer and operations in case of exceptional needs
• Grant full visibility on order status and Highlight potential disruption on supply chain
• Leveraging excel tools, ensure correct warehouse inventory level preventing dead stock or perishability and optimizing storage & reducing spending 
• Manage and close discrepancy and grant all invoices ready to be paid
• Support the fleet for loading operation issues with products delivery
• Continuous interaction with the different stakeholders to monitor and increase the supply chain activities and efficiency: products availability, suppliers and goods issues.

Your Journey so far

• Previous working experience in the role
• University Degree level or equivalent qualification/work experience. 

Your Essentials

• Good understanding of supply chain activities and best practices
• Fluent English and Italian, any additional language is an advantage
• MS Office with special focus on excel and Power BI is highly requested
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills, ability to prioritize and follow-up
• Legal right to work in Italy
