Your Purpose
Explora Journeys is a vibrant, cosmopolitan, European luxury brand, imagined in the heart of Swiss hospitality in Geneva. Leveraging our parent company MSC Group’s hundreds of years of maritime expertise, our fleet of six luxury ships (four currently in the pipeline) are being built and designed in a totally different and unique way that will transform and redefine the cruise experience, creating a category of its own, appealing to the next generation of luxury travellers.
An exciting opportunity exists for a talented, skilled at analysis, strategic and highly organized professional with strong marketing, digital and commercial acumen to join our newly created luxury travel brand Explora Journeys, based in our offices in Geneva, Switzerland.
Your Impact
- The objective of the role is to optimize full-funnel marketing investments holistically, maximizing revenue impact and ROI optimization across markets. This role is responsible for analysing performance across the customer journey — from awareness through loyalty — to identify growth opportunities, improve marketing efficiency, and drive commercial outcomes through data-driven decision-making.
Performance analysis: monitor and analyse marketing performance against brand and commercial KPIs, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Own the development, tracking and actioning of key marketing KPIs across touchpoint (all paid, owned and earned channels), campaigns and audience performance. - Drive efficiency, quantifying ROI/ROAS/CPA/CPLA by campaign, touchpoint and audience for each market to continuously optimize investments. Recommend reinvestments toward highest-impact activities, to hit awareness and revenue targets.
- Build and maintain full-funnel performance scorecards by market (awareness → consideration → conversion → loyalty) to identify revenue bottlenecks and optimize budget allocation between markets. Both on Excel and partnering with corporate team to make it available in self-serve tools (Power BI).
- Develop attribution models (e.g. media mix, multi-touch attribution) to clarify revenue contribution across platforms and improve investment efficiency.
- Partner with Marketing & Digital heads, Finance, Commercial and Revenue teams to forecast investment impacts and align marketing activities with commercial outcomes.
- Competitive analysis: monitor market conditions, competitive activity, and industry trends to support strategic planning and identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
- Prepare executive-ready presentations, with clear data-based recommendations to support senior leadership strategic decision-making, leveraging stellar data visualization combined with depth of insights.
Your Journey so far
- 5+ years of prior experience in marketing analytics, commercial analytics, business intelligence, or performance marketing analysis.
- Preference for prior experience in the luxury hospitality/travel industry or consulting agencies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Commercial, or related field (Masters, MBA or equivalent experience preferred).
Your Essentials
- Proven experience supporting senior executives and thriving in a fast-paced, start-up environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
- Highly Proficient in Excel and comfortable manipulating large datasets data and maintaining large spreadsheets with high level of accuracy
- Outstanding PowerPoint and storytelling skills — able to craft clean, crisp, high-impact presentations for C-suite audiences.
- Experience working with Salesforce, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics or similar platforms, as well as BI and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of marketing measurement methodologies including attribution modelling, media mix modelling, customer segmentation, and ROI analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in English.
- Passion and curiosity to continuously learn about the ever-evolving travel industry.
