Your Purpose
Explora Journeys is a vibrant, cosmopolitan, European luxury brand, imagined in the heart of Swiss hospitality in Geneva. Leveraging our parent company MSC Group’s hundreds of years of maritime expertise, our fleet of six luxury ships (four currently in the pipeline) are being built and designed in a totally different and unique way that will transform and redefine the cruise experience, creating a category of its own, appealing to the next generation of luxury travellers.
An exciting opportunity exists for a talented, skilled at analysis, strategic and highly organized professional with strong commercial acumen to join our newly created luxury travel brand Explora Journeys, based in our offices in Geneva, Switzerland.
Your Impact
The objective of the role is to optimize DTC performance, identify and drive key levers, increase conversion rate to drive channel revenue, effectiveness and efficiency.
Optimize Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) performance by identifying and activating key growth levers that improve revenue generation across markets and Business-to-Consumer (B2C) sub-channels, conversion, channel effectiveness and operational and investment efficiency.
- Performance analysis: monitor and analyse performance against channel and commercial KPIs, providing channel-specific insights and recommendations by market to maximize revenue per B2C sub-channel (Web, Call Centre and Future Sales) and drive continuous improvement. Own the development, tracking and actioning of key KPIs.
- Drive efficiency, quantifying ROI/ROAS/CPA/CPLA by sub-channel by market to continuously optimize investments. Recommend reinvestments toward highest-impact channels.
- Develop attribution models to identify channel levers which drive revenue.
- Build and maintain B2C performance scorecards by market to monitor and optimize B2C channel performance, identifying drop-off points. Both on Excel and partnering with corporate team to make it available in self-serve tools (Power BI).
- Partner with Media, Digital, Commercial, Revenue, IT, Call Centre and Future Sales to improve customer journeys, reduce friction, increase conversion, repeat and customer lifetime value.
- Competitive analysis: monitor market conditions, competitive activity, and industry trends to support strategic planning and identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
- Prepare executive-ready presentations, with clear data-based recommendations to support senior leadership strategic decision-making, leveraging stellar data visualization combined with depth of insights.
Your Journey so far
- 5+ years of prior experience in commercial analytics, business intelligence, DTC analytics or eCommerce performance.
- Preference for prior experience in the luxury hospitality/travel industry or consulting agencies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Commercial, or related field (Masters, MBA or equivalent experience preferred).
Your Essentials
- Proven experience supporting senior executives and thriving in a fast-paced, start-up environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
- Highly Proficient in Excel and comfortable manipulating large datasets data and maintaining large spreadsheets with high level of accuracy
- Outstanding PowerPoint and storytelling skills — able to craft clean, crisp, high-impact presentations for C-suite audiences.
- Experience working with Salesforce, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics or similar platforms, as well as BI and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of direct sales channels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in English.
- Passion and curiosity to continuously learn about the ever-evolving travel industry.
