**THIS POSITION IS ONBOARD**

The Digital Communication Manager is responsible for creating, managing, and overseeing all onboard marketing and communication materials to ensure brand consistency. This role handles key digital platforms such as the onboard app, Celebrity Today, and digital signage, ensuring content is accurate and functions properly across both digital and print. They also test system updates, report issues, and collaborate with onboard and revenue teams to deliver timely and effective communication content.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Test new app releases (iOS & Android) to ensure functionality and fix bugs.
  • Support new product launches, including testing and go-to-market coordination.
  • Ensure app data accuracy through post-voyage checks and system integration validation.
  • Keep all digital and print content updated, accurate, and brand aligned.
  • Manage daily app performance checks and resolve guest issues.
  • Collaborate with teams to input content, venue schedules, and activation grids.
  • Train crew and stakeholders on app features and guest communication processes.
  • Execute onboard marketing strategies to drive revenue and guest engagement.
  • Oversee production of marketing materials, reports, and manage Print Shop staff.
  • Participate in special events, theme nights, and other guest-focused activities as needed to enhance the overall cruise experience.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in either Digital Manager or Marketing Manager roles preferred.
  • Capable of testing and triaging App functionalities, backend systems and other digital interfaces preferred.
  • Experience in managing ship multi-screen digital signage system preferred.
  • 2+ years’ experience in Adobe Creative Cloud including Adobe InDesign and Adobe Experience Manager or similar CMS preferred.
  • Understanding of layouts and use of design elements including graphics, digital photos, line art, and vector images.
  • Superior time management and organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, and strong
  • attention to detail.
  • Creative, enthusiastic, and willing to go above and beyond what is expected to exceed guest expectations.
  • Exceptional writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly driven and results oriented with ability to identify new opportunities.

Language Requirements:

  • The Digital Communication Manager must be fluent in both spoken and written English.
  • The ability to speak additional languages such as Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, German or any other language is preferred.

Work Experience Requirements

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Cruise Ship, in a 4/5* Hotel or in an Upscale Restaurant.

Language Requirements

Good knowledge of the English language is required.
