Job Summary:
\nIn the role of Research Manager, North America you will play a pivotal role in executing research essential to Viking’s growth. In this role, he or she will be responsible for leading and executing small to medium sized research initiatives, which will include gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights for various teams, including marketing, product, and operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for travel, a keen analytical mind, and a proven track record in conducting thorough and impactful research.
This is a hybrid position based in our Woodland Hills, CA office. You will be required to adhere to our hybrid work policy, working from our office Monday and Thursday plus one additional weekday on a weekly basis.
\nJob Responsibilities:
\n· Lead survey development efforts for medium and small-scale surveys, including:
\n· Writing surveys based on a detailed outline
\n· Programming surveys in Qualtrics and
\n· Programming checking surveys,
\n· Analyzing data, and
\n· Developing reports that clearly communicate the findings.
\n· Managing vendors as needed on externally run projects, including managing budgets and timelines.
\n· Manage and maintain one continuously-running survey, with programming, troubleshooting and reporting as needed
\n· From time-to-time, this individual will lead recruitment and incentive fulfilment efforts for qualitative projects, including pulling sample list, sending invitation emails, setting up groups in Discuss.io platform, ensuring respondents successfully complete their technical check in a timely fashion, downloading group recordings and transcripts, and handling incentive fulfilment
\n· From time-to-time, this individual may run-point on team-specific organizational tasks and automation efforts (compendium, updating report templates, etc.)
\nJob Requirements:
\n· Bachelor's degree required
\n· 3+ years' experience in consumer insights, market research, analytics
\n· Impeccable attention to detail and commitment to delivering high quality results, with the ability to be flexible and pivot when needed
\n· Excellent critical thinking and interpersonal skills
\n· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
\n· Strong written and verbal communication skills
\n· History of strong interpersonal skills and being a team player who quickly builds trust and credibility through relationships
\n· Experience managing projects and research vendors, with experience proactively identifying both problems and solutions
\n· Considerable experience with PowerPoint and excel required
\n· Experience Qualtrics or another similar programming platform required
\n· Experience with SPSS is beneficial, but not required

- Salary range $130,000-$150,000 annually determined by a myriad of factors including, but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, and other relevant business considerations. \n
