Sport Manager

Are you passionate about sports, fitness, and creating memorable experiences for people? Royal Caribbean is looking for an energetic and experienced Sports Manager to lead our onboard Sports & Fitness Program.

In this role, you will oversee all Sports Deck activities, manage and develop a diverse team, ensure safety compliance, and deliver engaging sports and recreational experiences for guests of all ages. You will work closely with the Cruise Director and other departments to create a fun, active, and world-class guest experience.

What You'll Do

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, supervise, train, coach, and motivate Sports Staff members.
• Assign daily duties and work schedules.
• Monitor team performance and provide ongoing development and training.
• Support recruitment, hiring recommendations, and staffing requirements.
• Ensure all team members comply with Royal Caribbean standards, safety policies, SQM standards, and USPH requirements.

Guest Experience & Events

• Maintain a strong visible presence throughout the Sports Deck.
• Serve as Master of Ceremonies (MC) or host for sports competitions, group functions, charters, promotional events, themed activities, and special onboard events.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education, Recreation, Sports Management, Health Sciences, Kinesiology, Fitness, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in sports, recreation, fitness, physical education, coaching, or activity management.
• Experience coordinating and leading sports activities for large groups.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to train, develop, and motivate team members.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
