Key Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance and repair work on piping systems, plumbing, environmental, sanitary, pool systems, and related components as directed.
- Perform tasks in accordance with ISM/ISO, SQM standards, USPH guidelines, and environmental and safety policies.
- Inspect, repair, and troubleshoot pumps, valves, fittings, and associated equipment; document work and report issues to supervision.
- Maintain and conserve ship systems in scope (plumbing, environmental, sanitary, pool), ensuring proper operation and timely servicing.
- Adhere to safety procedures and participate in drills; maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Be flexible to work alternate shift schedules and respond to on-call or urgent maintenance needs as required.
- Support cost containment through careful use of chemicals, supplies, and equipment; minimize waste and downtime.
- Collaborate with supervisors and crew members to complete work orders efficiently; perform tasks as assigned without supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications & Training
- Minimum of 2 years' experience onboard vessels or in a related industry is required.
- Relevant plumbing, HVAC, or refrigeration certifications as applicable
- Welder certification (DNV, Lloyds) or equivalent certification
- Completed STCW and social responsibility training

Language Requirements
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
