- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support dynamic pricing models. \n
- Collaborate with data scientists to prepare data for model training, validation, and deployment. \n
- Implement and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability. \n
- Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to ensure continuous and reliable data integration. \n
- Work with the software development team to integrate data engineering solutions into the broader product architecture. \n
- Ensure data governance and compliance with relevant data privacy and security regulations. \n
- Engage with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate these into technical specifications. \n
- Document data engineering processes and contribute to best practices. \n
Job Requirements:

- Bachelor's (from a four-year college or university) or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. \n
- 4+ years of related experience in data warehousing, data pipelining and other big data technologies. Strong knowledge and/or experience in building a DataLakeHouse is a plus. \n
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server. \n
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP), with a preference for Azure. \n
- Knowledge of big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or Databricks. \n
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. \n
- A proactive approach. \n
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills. \n
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. \n
- Ability to switch gears quickly and cope with change. \n
- Proven experience in designing and implementing data engineering solutions, with a strong focus on data models and data architecture, ideally in the travel and leisure industry. \n
- Azure Databricks (ML Flow, model serving) \n
- Synapse Analytics & Pipelines \n
- Strong skills in Python/Spark SQL \n
- Experience with PowerBI \n
- Experiance with real time data pipelines (kafka, event hubs, spark streaming) is a plus \n

- Salary range $135,000 - $150,000 annually determined by a myriad of factors including, but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, and other relevant business considerations. \n
