• Role:                Media Manager
• With:                A 5* cruise liner – you will LOVE IT!
• Start date:        NOW!
• Website:          On application…GORGEOUS
• Rotation:          5 months on and 2 months off
• Salary:             From $2800USD per month worked tax free
• Berthing:         Depending on availability – could be single, smaller ships could be shared
• Required:         You to have previous shipboard experience in a similar role; company medical (circa $500USD at your expense), US C1/D visa ($185 – reimbursed if successfully boarded), police background check from your home country (at your expense), some STCW certs (TBC).
• Reporting to:   Hotel Director
• JD:                   Full JD on application

Role Overview

1. Content Production & Publishing – Oversee the timely production and publishing of all onboard communication,
2. Design & Creative Execution – Design and produce visually compelling content (print and digital), ensuring alignment with brand standards and shoreside.
3. Brand Governance & Compliance – Ensure full adherence to corporate brand guidelines, standards, and templates across all onboard materials
4. Strategic & Commercial Contribution – Actively contribute to onboard commercial strategy, supporting revenue-driving initiatives through effective communication
5. Publicity & External Relations – Proactively engage with guest contributors (journalists, chefs, entertainers, partners) to source and develop publicity content
6. Operations & Print Management – Manage and operate all printing and publishing equipment, including printers, large-format devices, scanners, cutters and finishing tools

You the BRILLIANT Media Manager

• Prior experience in a Media Manager / DTP or similar role shipboard.
• Strong expertise in: Desktop publishing and graphic design, print production and equipment, Adobe Creative Suite and publishing tools.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign and other Adobe applications, with a high level of practical experience in creating, managing, and delivering complex layouts and publication-ready materials
• Background in publicity, graphic design, printing, and/or media, hotel, or marketing management.
• Proficiency in multiple languages; and fluency in English.
• Strong seniority and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to report to the HD and ensure shoreside guidelines are properly implemented onboard, maintaining fleetwide strategy alignment and brand consistency.
• Solid business and analytical mindset, capable of tracking voyage performance (results, KPIs, ratings) and proactively contributing to onboard strategy across media, menus, and guest-facing communications in collaboration with onboard teams.
