This refresher course updates essential safety skills required by seafarers, including firefighting and emergency response, as well as survival at sea techniques. Participants will practice using breathing apparatus, extinguishing fires, liferaft deployment, immersion suit use, and survival coordination in realistic scenarios.

Modules Covered:

• Firefighting and emergency response procedures (FPFF)
• Survival techniques including liferaft and immersion suit handling (PST)

The course complies with STCW standards and is delivered at our MCA-approved training centre in Phuket.

Entry Requirements

Minimum age: 18 years
Valid STCW Basic Training certificates required for:

Personal Survival Techniques (A-VI/1-1)
Fire Prevention & Fire Fighting (A-VI/1-2)

Certificates must be issued by a maritime authority of an IMO White List country

If certificates have expired, candidates must have at least 6 months of documented sea service within the last 5 years to qualify for this refresher

Candidates without recent sea service must take the Extended Refresher course
