I am delighted to share with you an IMMEDIATE opening for a super cool role which is a short-term gig. This position is only suitable for a candidate whom has ALL of the requirements listed.

Role: Assistant Printer
Company: A FABULOUS 5* Cruise Line company
Start date: IMMEDIATE - until the end of March 2015 (so a short term contract which could see you staying with the company permanently if you do a great job!)
Salary: £1,442UK or $2,397US TAX FREE paid pro-rata
Website: On application
Flights: Free provided both ways by the host company
Uniform: Provided FREE of charge on-board (you need to supply shoes)
Berthing: Shared cabin with one other person

The REQUIREMENTS

You to have worked already on-board a cruise ship as an Assistant Publisher or Publisher or DTP or Print Room professional
You to have a valid ENG1 / Norwegian Seafarers medical / Ship medical (or be able to get one in a day)
Knowledge in desktop publishing is a must. Preferably Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and InDesign.
Must have a knowledge in what is called 'registration'. This technique is use to place the image exactly on the same place / spot
Can explain how water / fountain solution) affects the print quality?
To have knowledge of printers including: Press is ABDick 9995A / ABDick 9995 / ABDick 9920 and Plate Maker ABDick DPM4

These requirements are sadly non-negotiable from our client... they are looking for a super professional whom has the exact required experience to jump on-board and 'run' with the job as soon as they are at sea.
