Entertainment Host - Sport

As an Entertainment Host you would be responsible for hosting a diverse range of sports activities, during both the day and evening for our passengers, where the emphasis is always to enhance their cruise experience. This individual will manage and deliver an exceptional sporting entertainment service onboard, including quoits, golf, tennis, cricket and football, with the aim of creating a fun and lively atmosphere for passengers.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all activities meet the agreed standards and actively work to exceed the expectations of passengers and improve customer satisfaction scores.
• Provide help and support to the Entertainment team as required and assist in the delivery of non-sporting passenger activities as directed. Carry out any other duties as requested.
• Provide a highly visible presence during key entertainment activities and passenger events.
• Regularly attend Sail Away parties and other corporate sponsored social events, interacting with passengers as part of regular work duties.
• Schedule sports and leisure activities taking the main passenger preferences and demographics of the ship into account

Experience and Skills Required:

• Previous experience in an entertainment role, preferably within a hotel or cruise ship environment
• Previous experience of hosting / coaching sports activities for all ages is required
• Experience of working in a fast moving customer environment
• Good command of written and spoken English
