Position Summary

Be the Consummate Host by delivering safely functioning and well-maintained audio systems in support of a dynamic, engaging, and memorable entertainment and activities program.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Assistant Production Manager-Audio is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and programing of live audio within a variety of onboard venues as assigned by shipboard management. This role safely delivers functioning and well-maintained audio systems in support of a dynamic, engaging, and memorable entertainment and activities program.

• Properly maintains technical performance standards for associated audio equipment for their assigned venues at all times.
• Conducts thorough daily inspections of portable and permanent audio equipment, ensuring proper function or taking necessary action for repair.
• Properly maintains all Entertainment audio equipment and systems around the vessel as directed by the Senior Production Manager
• Regularly tests, maintains, and repairs assigned equipment to ensure consistent high quality.
• Promptly advises the Technical Department of maintenance needs; coordinates to ensure required repairs are carried out in a timely manner.
• Assists the Technical Department with general repairs and operations as directed by the Senior Production Manager.

Job Requirements

Applicants must have a minimum of three years' professional work experience operating and maintaining large-format consoles and mixed media playback. Equipment operating specifics: Digidesign Venue Profile and SC48 consoles, iZ Corp RADAR playback system, LCS Matrix 3 automated surround-sound system, PeaveyMedia Matrix audio interface, QSC Q-SYS Integrated System, and Countryman/Shure UHF wireless microphones.
