Retail Sales Team - Cruise Ship Retail

Harding is a shipboard luxury retailer working with cruise line partners to create the ultimate retail experience for guests on board. Through listening, innovating, and evolving, we stay at the cutting edge of retailing; consistently providing outstanding customer service and being recognised as Cruise Retailer of the Year for 2019.

With further ship sailing dates being released for 2021, we are looking to recruit motivated and ambitious retail associates to join the successful teams at sea. So, the big question is… are you tired of life on the high street, or have you worked at sea before and want to return?

Selling premium and luxury brands on board, you will be the expert interacting with cruise line retail customers, providing memorable experiences every day. You will take part in events such as fashion shows or product seminars, constantly interacting with retail customers on board.

We are currently recruiting for the following roles:

Sales Associate
You take pride in ensuring that your customers make the right purchases by offering expert advice, adopting a warm and approachable manner with a first-class level of customer service.

Beauty Specialist
With your expert artistry you will provide customers from across the globe a welcoming, authentic and personalised service.

Liquor Specialist / Mixologist
You take pride in representing well-known liquor brands and know how to make a cocktail or two!

Jewellery Sales Specialist
Selling exquisite designs and romantic ideas with distinguished luxury brands, you will create a once in a lifetime experience and add that little bit of sparkle to the onboard shopping experience.

Watch Sales Specialist
You have a true understanding of premium Swiss watches and the passion for giving five-star service.

Successful candidates will ideally have previous onboard experience, or come from luxury or high street retail, having strong customer service skills with face-to-face interaction. You will have an ability to work in a fast-paced and sales target driven environment. As a team player, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must. Candidates must be aged 21 or over to apply.

Please note, if successful in the recruitment process, you will be required to undergo a medical assessment to work at sea (varies by cruise line and is managed by third parties).
