POSITION SUMMARY:
Linen Runner are responsible for providing the linen needs of the entire ship. Duties include delivering clean and dirty linen bags, bedsheets, cleaning rags, towels, and washed uniforms to shipboard personnel; adjusting crew members uniforms, linen, shower curtains, and other ship curtains; assisting in any upholstery work in guest and crew areas; and attending meetings and training sessions as requested by the Chief Housekeeper.
Hiring Requirements:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as Linenkeeper/Linen Runner in a Cruise or 4-5 Star Hotel abroad
Ability to apply customer service skills according to Royal Caribbean International’s The Royal Way when interacting with guests and coworkers.
Completion of high school or basic education equivalency preferred.
Work Experience Requirements
All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Cruise Ship, in a 4/5* Hotel or in an Upscale Restaurant.
Language Requirements
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
