• Role:                Housekeeping Supervisor
• Cruise line:      5 star Cruise Liner
• Reporting to:   Housekeeping Manager
• Salary:             Circa $3500USD – $4000USD per month worked (not paid in vacation time)
• Rotation:         6 Months on and 2 Months off
• Berthing:         Shared berth with one other / 2 to a cabin
• Stripes:            2 stripes
• Start date:        ASAP
• Required:        New cruise medical, US C1/D visa (reimbursed), background check, to adhere to the cruise line company covid vaccination policy.

You the BRILLIANT Housekeeping Supervisor;

• You will most likely have worked at sea on a cruise liner before – perhaps as a Rooms Divisions Supervisor or a Housekeeping Supervisor before.
• You would have previous knowledge and understanding of the Public Health and environmental requirements of servicing public areas.
• You will have experience of leading a team of 30+.
• You will speak fluent English and any additional language is a plus.
• You are enthusiastic, keen and eager to work 7 days a week and offer service-excellence to the guests.
• You will currently be on land and ready to start this new role within 1 month.

The SUPERB Role Overview

Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

• Ensuring that the Company and Public Health standards of housekeeping, sanitation, maintenance, and related services in guests’ and teammates’ public areas as well as guests’ and officers’ staterooms are always upheld.
• Performing daily inspections to ensure consistent cleanliness, sanitization, presentation, and timely readiness of guest and teammate public areas.
• Driving and optimizing the use of the company housekeeping tools to ensure personnel deliver a truly personalized service to guests.
• Being accountable for the Housekeeping operation in guests’ and teammates’ public areas as well as guests’ and officers’ rooms, including problem resolution and all Service Excellence-related guest inquiries.
• Identifying and communicating furnishing requirements to the Assistant Housekeeping Manager (for guest and teammate public areas) and Housekeeping Manager (for officer and guest rooms).
• Partnering closely with the Housekeeping Manager, Assistant Housekeeping Manager, and other shipboard leaders to capture best practices and share insights on operational efficiencies.
