The Public Health Officer is responsible for driving and coordinating theexecution of the company’s Private Destinations Public Health and InfectionPrevention and Control Program, ensuring the company’s public health andinfectious disease standards are met and/or exceeded on island. This isachieved through structured training, inspections, and effective communication.

The areas included in the scope of work are Food Safety, Water Safety(Potable and Recreational water systems), Integrated Pest Management (IPM),Disease Surveillance, Outbreak and Infection Prevention and Control, Trainingand Regulatory Compliance. Due to the nature of the role, the Public HealthOfficer interfaces with all departments, employees, and areas of the island.Oversees compliance with COVID-19 related protocols and reports findings.
