Tailor Uniform Keeper

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for the safekeeping, issuing, retrieving and maintenance of all Company funded uniforms. Supports the inventory team to fulfill and complete all initiatives related to loading and storing of inventoried items on embarkation day.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of one (1) year guest facing service experience in a luxury environment.
• Combination of education equivalent to high school diploma or any other source of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Confident, well-groomed appearance with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
• Minimum of one year tailor or seamstress experience in a commercial dry cleaning or related establishment.
• Knowledge of how to operate commercial type sewing machines.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Superior customer service, interpersonal, conflict resolution and oral communication skills.
• Ability to communicate tactfully with guests, department heads and shipboard employees to resolve problems and negotiate resolutions.
• Ability to fulfill the above mentioned Key Responsibilities and all reasonable company requests.
