• Role: Financial Controller (this is the number one position in the Finance team)
• Reporting to: General Manager •Location: A truly gorgeous 6* resort in the Republic of Maldives
• Start date: ASAP
• Salary: Circa $5000US TAX FREE paid per month year round…so $60,000US TAX FREE / £40,000UK TAX FREE per annum (negotiable)
• Accommodation: Single room with en-suite
• Website: On application…it’s really sparkling and magic
• Working: 6 days a week and 1 day off
• Vacation / Hols: 30 Calendar Days holiday per year, with 2 x R&R aspect being 8 Days each plus 10 public holidays
• Team: Leading a team of 12 finance and 8 purchasing
• Interview journey: Skype interview, telephone interviews and flown to Maldives for final interview
• Benefits: Access to guest facilitates at specified times
• Contract: 2 years

With circa 400 guests residing at the palatial resort, they enjoy a vacation which will re-charge the batteries and then some. The Exceptional Role
Working 6 days a week you will be supporting the resorts’ financial protocol leading and motivating a great team of internationals. You will strategize to look at further enhancing the revenue generation for the property. This would involve having a beady eye on the figures and checking cost-effectivity, labour budgets and seeing whether there are funds being spent in areas not needed. Dealing with P&L accounts, ledgers and spread sheets, your brains will be managing REVPAR and ARR.

You The Brilliant Financial Wizard
You will be a Financial Controller or equivalent from a high quality brand, hotel or business. Preferably from the 5* hospitality arena, you will have worked in Europe, Canada, USA, New Zealand or Australia previously in this senior role in a gorgeous location. Your experience will include leading and motivating large teams and dealing with multi-national staff, owners and bankers too. You will have the drive to make effective change within a team through your business and number savvy. You will be happy to work 6 days a week in a location which is ‘HOT’. I am sure you will be a person whom enjoys outdoor life including diving and sports. This location is most certainly not in the middle of the CBD, and you will be not afraid of your own company.
