The Role
As Senior Entertainment Strategy and Change Manager for P&O Cruises you will be based in our Southampton head office and reporting directly into the Director of Entertainment. The role will be focusing on future product strategy, the entertainment market and industry future trends, entertainment data, operating models & partnership opportunities that will influence the next chapter of the entertainment vision which will enable us to drive change and exceed guest expectations.
You will identify new opportunities for growth across all touch points of our entertainment product as we look forward to what the next decade of exceeding our guests’ expectations and driving product awareness through entertainment experiences onboard P&O Cruises.
You will:
Create strategic plans that align with P&O Cruises long-term goals, while ensuring that these plans are both innovative, practical, and cost efficient.
Ensuring the future development direction of an entertainment product is in line with P&O Cruises Entertainment vision and brand goals.
Identification of strategic partners, contract negotiations opportunities and implementation process.
Report on current trends, costs, and scores to stakeholders to drive development in the right spaces.
Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities. This role is a CUK06 and is offered on a full time, 12 months fixed term contract basis, with hybrid working in our Southampton office, including up to two days from home.
Please note that regular travel will be required as part of this role. This will include visiting our P&O Cruises ships around the world, international entertainment suppliers and meetings and events across the United Kingdom.
About You

Be a creative and innovative leader with experience in the conceptualisation, design, and development of a wide range of entertainments products and formats and be able to balance costs with benefits.
Be a creative thinker with the ability to inspire a product vision that is unique and industry leading.
Experience of the leisure and entertainments sector having worked within Cruise / Hotels / Resorts / Theme parks / Theatre.
Have project management skills.
Experience within commercial operations where you have managed costs and driven revenue through product offerings.
Have knowledge of the entertainment industry including current and future trends, partnership, and talent connections.
