\nJob Summary:
\nViking is undergoing a digital transformation and seeking a full-time Business Analyst. Reporting to our Director, Marketing Initiatives, you will be involved in planning, gathering and documenting detailed requirements, collaborating with channel owners and stakeholders, and managing project documentation. This position requires both business and technical expertise to liaise between marketing, technical and vendor stakeholders.
\nThis is a hybrid position based in our Woodland Hills, CA office. You will be required to adhere to our hybrid work policy, working from our office Monday and Thursday plus one additional weekday on a weekly basis.
\nJob Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Requirement Gathering: Engage with channel leads and stakeholders to capture detailed business and technical requirements; anticipate potential blockers and dependencies; standardize Jira assignments and Confluence documentation; assimilate requirements for centralizing marketing data in the data lake. \n
- Documentation: Create, maintain, and update documentation in Confluence, JIRA, and SharePoint; regularly update and centralize marketing and IT documentation; encourage self-service access to documentation; build and maintain documentation of data-related tasks and reporting processes. \n
- Strategy & Planning: Utilize project management tools and work with the Scrum Master to evaluate current processes; contribute to the ideation of the use case backlog and perform impact/LOE scoring; collaborate with various channels to design and implement workflows; participate in meetings related to centralization of marketing data. \n
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main communication point, updating stakeholders on progress, challenges, and timelines; manage expectations and escalate issues when necessary. \n
- QA & Testing: Work with channel leads on testing in Adobe Journey Optimizer, Adobe RT-CDP, Viking Data Lake, etc.; create CX-specific QA schedules, timelines, and processes. \n
Job Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, particularly with expertise in cross-channel process documentation and flow analysis. \n
- Comprehensive understanding of project managements tools, architectures, data structures, and migration methodologies. \n
- Knowledge of databases, schemas, and data systems preferred \n

- Salary range $120,000 - $135,000 annually determined by a myriad of factors including, but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, and other relevant business considerations. \n
