• Company: A 5 star resort company in the Caribbean
• Location: Based in Jamaica, the Caribbean

• Salary: $70,000+ USD TAX FREE per annum
• Bonus: Up to 25% of annual salary
• Housing: Housing allowance given for a 1-bedroom apartment
• Car: Car allowance given
• Leading: Directly 5 and 200 or so retail team members across the resorts
• Benefits: Additional benefits: Food on site, health care and pension potential (after probation)
• Reporting to: Corporate Director
• JD: Full JD on application
• Status: This is a single status role due to work permit sponsorship
• Work Permit: The company will support you with a work permit (which takes circa 3 months to be issued with – pending submission of documentation)

The SUPERB role overview

• To enhance and optimize the company’s on site retail department in each of their resorts. This will be achieved through new strategies, and fresh ideas, that will provide the necessary tools to allow the department to exceed its goals.
• To manage the plethora of retail outlets across the resorts in the company portfolio.

YOU the PERFECT Senior Retail Manager.

• You will be managing a multi-site outlet operation with more than 10+ outlets as a Retail Manager for 3+ years.
• This could be as a Retail Manager on a cruise ship with 10+ outlets.
• You will be very strong on data analysis, new strategy implantation, creativity, financial savvy and operational goals.
• You will have experience of managing multi-cultural teams.
• Your CV will list the websites of the locations you have worked at, plus show:
• The average spend per head of guests / customers per day.
• The number of retails outlets that you were in charge of in a daily operation.
• The best financial month you’ve ever achieved as a retail manager.
• You will show how many people you have led in your teams when you were retail manager.
• You will be creative, skilled and savvy to come up with new revenue generating ideas.
• You will have luxury experience and branded sales experience.
• Your merchandising skills will be exceptional.
• You will have experience of setting up new projects and implementing openings – and this needs to be evidenced on your CV.
• You will be able to drive foot-fall into the retail outlets through your merchandising, stock choice ordering and stylish presentations.
• You will be able to lead a team effectively and drive them to sales success through quality service-excellence, upselling, link-selling and more.
• You will be brilliant on computers, especially Excel and be exceptional for revenue generation, cost of sales and profit margins.
• You will be happy to travel lots across the Caribbean with a suitcase from resort to resort.
• You will be a really hard worker and agreeable to work sometimes 6 days a week at times.
• You will be very smartly attired and act as an ambassador the company at all times.
