The Sr. Digital Product Manager at Viking will be at the forefront of managing new initiatives for our digital platforms. This role will own and drive large projects and features with design and leadership, translate them into user stories and then collaborate with other product managers to execute and deliver on the new initiative.  The role demands an individual with strong leadership, communication, and organization skills. The Sr. Product Manager will be responsible for maintaining momentum on multiple features at one time and must have a passion for creating intuitive and detailed digital experiences based on market intuition, analytics, user research, and A/B testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Ownership:
  • \n
      \n
    • Take full ownership of new initiatives across multiple products including the marketing sites and online booking engines.
    • \n
    • Own the process from inception and design to user stories and execution.
    • \n
    • Drive product decisions based on business goals and impact.
    • \n
    • Work with Executives and stakeholders to gather new initiatives and goals then translate into an executable roadmap.
    • \n
    • Seamlessly handoff defined user stories to individual product managers and work alongside them to ensure delivery.
    • \n
    \n
  • Guest Experience Enhancement:
  • \n
      \n
    • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure the initiative is intuitive, user-friendly, and in alignment with brand standards.
    • \n
    • Gather feedback directly from call center, research teams, and guests to understand needs and preferences, using these insights to drive platform enhancements.
    • \n
    \n
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • \n
      \n
    • Work closely with IT, QA, marketing, customer service, and other relevant departments to ensure the platform offers comprehensive information and functionality.
    • \n
    • Coordinate with the broader digital product team to align the platform with other digital initiatives.
    • \n
    \n
  • Reporting & Analytics:
  • \n
      \n
    • Utilize analytics tools to track platform performance, user behaviors, and other critical metrics.
    • \n
    • Regularly present insights and recommendations to senior management, showcasing the impact of the digital platform and proposing strategies for continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

\n
    \n
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
  • \n
  • 4+ years of experience in digital product management, preferably with a focus on customer-centric platforms or e-commerce.
  • \n
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions to improve digital product performance.
  • \n
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and product development processes.
  • \n
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • \n
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Power Bi, Adobe Analytics, and Adobe Target.
  • \n

  • Salary range $135,000 - $160,000 annually determined by a myriad of factors including, but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, and other relevant business considerations.
