Your Purpose
The Fraud and Revenue Protection Analyst is responsible for safeguarding company revenue by identifying, analyzing, and preventing payment discrepancies, chargebacks, and fraudulent activity. This role partners with Finance, IT, Sales and Contact Center teams to strengthen internal controls, enhance payment security, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days per week in the office, in Miami.
Your Impact
- Monitor and reconcile payment transactions across internal and external systems.
- Analyze chargebacks and fraud trends; recommend and implement preventive measures.
- Support IT in testing and implementing revenue protection controls.
- Review bookings and maintain risk databases (e.g., customer/credit card blacklists).
- Prepare and deliver reports on fraud, collections, agency compliance, and spending patterns.
- Partner with internal teams to improve payment and collection processes.
- Contribute to onboarding by presenting company T&E policies and monitoring compliance.
- Provide ad hoc analyses and support revenue protection initiatives.
- Responsibilities may evolve or expand in response to business needs.
Your Journey so far
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Computer Science).
- 2+ years of relevant finance or analytical experience, with exposure to fraud prevention, revenue protection, accounting, or financial analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify anomalies, investigate root causes, and detect potential fraud risks.
- Advanced Excel and MS Office proficiency, including building models, using advanced formulas, trend analysis, and visual presentations of complex data.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar), payment platforms, and fraud detection tools.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate findings clearly and professionally to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and organized, ensuring accuracy in reporting, reconciliation, and fraud investigations while managing multiple priorities.
- Collaborative and independent work style, able to partner effectively across Finance, IT, Legal, and Operations while also driving initiatives autonomously.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and adaptability, motivated to learn, take initiative, and work on challenging tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- High ethical standards and confidentiality, with sound judgment when handling sensitive financial and customer information.
