Job Purpose

We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud solutions to support our business goals and digital transformation initiatives.

As a key strategic player, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, guide cloud adoption strategies, and ensure architectural best practices are followed across projects.

Key Accountabilities

• Design and implement enterprise-grade cloud architecture solutions on Microsoft Azure.

• Define cloud architecture principles, patterns, and best practices to support scalable and secure applications.

• Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives, including assessment, planning, and execution.

• Collaborate with DevOps, Infrastructure, Security, and Application teams to integrate and automate cloud operations.

• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest level of cloud performance and reliability.

• Develop architecture documentation, diagrams, and operational guidelines.

• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on Azure services, architecture patterns, governance, and cost optimization.

• Ensure cloud solutions align with compliance, regulatory, and security standards.

• Mentor junior cloud engineers and architects, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or cloud architecture.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including:

o Azure Compute (VMs, App Services, Functions)

o Azure Networking (VNet, NSG, Load Balancer, Azure Firewall)

o Azure Storage, SQL/NoSQL databases

o Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, Identity & Access Management

o Azure DevOps, ARM/Bicep templates, Terraform

• Strong knowledge of security frameworks and best practices in cloud environments.

• Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments is a plus.
