Your Purpose
MSC Cruises, the world’s third-largest cruise line brand, is expanding its Finance and Accounting team in the USA. As a Revenue Accounting Coordinator, this contract role is essential in supporting revenue-related transactions by investigating refunds discrepancies, processing refunds, and ensuring accurate data entry of cash movements related to chargebacks. Reporting to the Revenue Accounting Manager, this position ensures the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations contributing to the seamless processing of revenue accounting functions.
Your Impact
- Process refunds in DTS and maintain accurate records of all results.
- Investigate refund transactions that fail to process automatically and identify potential causes.
- Prepare and compile exception reports for review and analysis by the IT department.
- Collaborate with IT to provide exception report details and assist in identifying root causes of system issues.
- Participate in system testing and validation following IT enhancements or updates.
- Accurately record and track cash movements related to chargebacks.
- Perform additional duties and support special projects as assigned.
Your Journey so far
- Fluent English (oral and written skills)
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficient computer, technical and troubleshooting skills
- Strong MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Match, PivotTables, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
