Your Purpose

Explora Journeys is a vibrant, cosmopolitan, European luxury brand, imagined in the heart of Swiss hospitality in Geneva. Leveraging our parent company MSC Group’s hundreds of years of maritime expertise, our fleet of sixluxury ships (four currently in the pipeline) are being built and designed in a totally different and unique way that will transform and redefine the cruise experience, creating a category of its own, appealing to the next generation of luxury travellers. 

As a Commercial Strategy Analyst, you will play a crucial role in shaping the commercial direction of Explora Journeys. You will work closely with senior leadership to analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, and optimize revenue streams. You will deliver actionable insights and support the development of commercial initiatives that enhance our competitive positioning. This role is based at our Headquarters in Geneva. 

Your Impact

1. Conduct in-depth market and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and potential areas for growth in the luxury cruise sector. 
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, finance, and operations to align commercial plans with overall business objectives. 
3. Prepare detailed business cases, presentations, and reports for senior management and stakeholders. 
4. Perform rigorous quantitative analysis to support commercial strategy decisions.
5. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and commercial metrics, providing recommendations to improve performance. 
6. Assist in the evaluation of partnerships, new market entries, and strategic investments. 
7. Drive continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and proposing data-driven solutions. 

Your Journey so far

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred. 
• 2-4 years of professional experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or commercial analysis, preferably within luxury travel, hospitality, or related industries. 
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). 

Your Essentials

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex insights to diverse audiences. 
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
• Strong commercial acumen with a passion for the luxury travel sector. 
• Experience with financial modeling and scenario analysis is a plus.
