Your Purpose
We are seeking a Hotel & Onboard Revenue (OBR) Analyst to provide advanced analytical support to the FBP Product teams within our cruise business. This role is highly data-driven, with a strong focus on crunching large datasets, building models, and delivering actionable insights that enable Controllers and functional leaders to optimise both revenues and costs across hotel and onboard operations.The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, combines financial acumen with data-science-level analytical skills, and thrives in transforming complex data into clear insights that drive better business outcomes.
Your Impact
Analytical & Data Crunching Support
• Provide analytical support to Product teams by processing and interpreting large volumes of onboard revenue and hotel operations data.
• Build advanced models (forecasting, trend analysis, scenario simulations) to support financial planning and product evaluation, with a focus on both revenue and cost drivers.
• Reconcile actual results vs. forecast/budget and prepare variance analyses, highlighting key drivers across revenues and costs, and supporting the team with corrective actions.
• Create and maintain databases, dashboards, and automated reports for continuous monitoring of performance KPIs (e.g., revenue per passenger, onboard spending per cruise day, category mix, cost per guest/cruise day).
Business Partnering & Collaboration
• Act as a key analytical partner to Product teams, supporting with data-driven insights and recommendations on revenue generation and cost optimization.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Operations teams to provide financial visibility into initiatives, promotions, onboard product strategies, and related cost impacts.
Advanced Data & Insights
• Apply advanced data techniques (e.g., regression, time series, segmentation, clustering) to uncover patterns in onboard consumer behavior and cost efficiency.
• Support Controllers and Product Managers in assessing new business cases (retail offerings, F&B concepts, efficiency initiatives, etc.).
• Drive automation and process improvements in financial and operational reporting, covering both revenue streams and cost structures.
Your Journey so far
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, Finance, Business, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.
- Background in FP&A, revenue management, data analytics, or data science (hospitality, cruise, or travel industry experience is a plus).
- Strong financial and analytical background, with a focus on cost control, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Years of experience : (3-7 years)
Your Essentials
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proven experience working with large datasets..
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
• Self-driven, proactive, and organised, capable of managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
- EU Passport or right to work in Switzerland.
