Your Purpose
The Manager, FP&A, is a key role in supporting new business initiatives, planning and modelling, as well as driving analysis of certain aspects of the P&L and Capital Expenditures, including forecasting, budgeting and Ad Hoc analysis related to those line items. This position works cross-functionally with multiple department leaders within the MSC Ocean Cay organization.
Your Impact
- Manage Budget and forecast planning process related to the P&L and Capital expenditures
- Deliver analysis and dashboards of the business's results, including variances to plan, ensuring key issues, risks, and business drivers are understood and highlighted
- Performs ongoing financial analysis of P&L and Capital expenditures to assess performance vs. budget and forecast, and identifies opportunities for improvement
- Lead and influence different stakeholders, building strong collaborative relationships with key partners to drive operational efficiency
- Ability to work on multiple projects with challenging deadlines
Your Journey so far
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant finance experience (FP&A, finance or a related analytical field experience)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Entrepreneurial mindset, self-motivated, with desire to learn and work on challenging tasks, projects, in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, organizational and excel skills, including experience with building sustainable financial forecasting models
- Familiarity with QuickBooks, SAP and Power BI
- Highly proficient with MS Office applications. Must be an advanced user in Excel with in-depth knowledge of advanced formulas, charting, and model structuring
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of the organization through various forms
- Ability to function effectively in a team environment and independently
- Detailed oriented, strong focus on data accuracy and reporting deadlines.
- MBA, or CPA preferred.
