Your Purpose

The Travelling Fleet Supervisor (TFS) is a fleet-wide leader responsible for overseeing Retail and Spa operations across the Explora Journeys fleet. The role ensures consistent delivery of a refined, luxury guest experience through strong leadership, talent development, and flawless execution of brand standards, policies, and procedures.

Reporting to the Retail Lead and Senior Spa Lead, the TFS serves as the key link between shipboard teams and the corporate office, ensuring alignment, operational excellence, and sustainable performance across all vessels.

Your Impact

  • Develop and implement structured development and succession plans for Retail and Spa leadership teams, ensuring consistent standards and capability across the fleet.
  • Lead onboarding, mentorship programs, and leadership refreshers to reinforce luxury service behaviors and management excellence.
  • Partner with onboard management teams to deliver agreed short- and long-term commercial objectives through daily performance oversight and coaching.
  • Analyze Retail and Spa KPIs using tools such as Power BI and Crunchtime, identifying opportunities and supporting corrective actions where needed.
  • Ensure Retail and Spa activations, promotions, and marketing initiatives are aligned with guest profiles and itineraries, enhancing engagement and conversion.
  • Monitor guest feedback and Medallia results, driving targeted actions to elevate guest satisfaction and experience.
  • Ensure strict adherence to visual merchandising, floor plans, and stockroom standards, optimizing guest flow, presentation, and safety.
  • Support the development and implementation of standard operating procedures in collaboration with the Hotel Department.
  • Conduct regular fleet audits to ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, and operational guidelines.

Your Journey so far

  • Experience in Retail and/or Spa leadership within luxury hospitality or premium multi-unit environments, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Manager, Travelling, or Area/Regional Manager role.
  • Strong focus on luxury service standards, guest experience, and brand consistency.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop management teams.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to interpret KPIs and performance data.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Availability to travel extensively (75%) across the fleet; fluent in English.
