Your Purpose

MSC Cruises, the world’s third largest cruise line brand is expanding its team in the USA.  Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Logistics Operations Agent plays a critical role in executing and managing purchase orders (PONs) across multiple logistics categories, ensuring timely and efficient procurement operations. Reporting to the MSC USA Logistics Manager, this role is responsible for coordinating 3PL partners, ocean freight carriers, ground transportation providers, and customs brokers. The agent also handles urgent and off-schedule vessel requests, including loadings, offloading, and port-specific needs.

This is a hybrid position requiring 4 days per week in the office, in Miami. 

Your Impact

Purchase Orders (PON) Management & Execution

• Process and manage purchase orders across various logistics streams.
• Prioritize and execute urgent Transportation Requests and Manage end to end process
• Coordinate with Ocean 3PL, freight carriers and customs brokers for all logistics matters:
• Ensure documentation for accuracy and compliance with internal standards.

Collaboration & Coordination

• Serve as a key liaison between suppliers, logistics partners, and internal departments.
• Monitor shipments and proactively resolve any delays or clearance related issues.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and customs regulations.

Process Improvement & Reporting

• Track PON performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline procurement and reduce lead times.
• Provide reporting and insights on procurement trends, costs, and fulfillment rates.

Your Journey so far

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or associate’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in procurement, logistics, or PON fulfillment.
• Strong knowledge of P2P processes, supplier coordination, and procurement systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal, English).
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and able to obtain US port ID’s and TWIC card.
