We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Business Innovation Specialist to join our Business Innovation team at MSC Cruises Headquarters in Geneva. This role is designed for a data-driven professional with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for innovation. The Business Innovation Specialist will explore new opportunities, connect insights across our ecosystem, and help shape the future of digital experiences onboard our ships and across the MSC for Me platform.

Your Impact

• Leverage data insights to propose and validate new ideas that enhance guest experience and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with business innovation cross-functional teams (PMS-Otalio, Web Check-in, New Buildings & Terminal Operations, MSC for ME) to design and implement innovative solutions.
• Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments for new initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Use tools such as Power BI, SQL, and Python to extract, interpret, and visualize data for actionable insights.
• Monitor emerging technologies and trends in business innovation, proposing relevant applications for MSC Cruises.
• Support the development of business cases and presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Act as a bridge between technical teams and the business innovation department, ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements.
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for innovation and optimization across the MSC digital ecosystem.

Your Journey so far

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data Analytics, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills with 3 to 5 years of proven experience in data interpretation and business analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, SQL, and preferably Python for data manipulation and visualization.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate data-driven insights into business recommendations.
• Creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation.
• Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
