Your Purpose
CTL Maritime is looking for a Legal Counsel to join the Legal team at the Head Office in Geneva.
The successful candidate will support the legal workstream that oversees the development, operation, maintenance and contractual lifecycle of managed port terminals and shore‑side assets worldwide, as well as assist with corporate housekeeping for terminal‑related entities and project SPVs.
This role is ideal for a lawyer eager to grow within a dynamic, international environment and contribute to high‑impact infrastructure and commercial projects.
Your Impact
- Assist with corporate housekeeping for terminal‑related entities and project SPVs, contributing to internal compliance and alignment across the group’s corporate structure.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on maritime legislation, port regulations, and relevant commercial and regulatory frameworks.
- Support due diligence activities, governance processes, internal approvals and document management across projects.
- Facilitate communication among internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy, consistency and timely flow of information.
- Support the management of existing contracts, such as JV agreements, sale and purchase agreements, lease agreements or concession agreements, post‑transaction closing, including monitoring of obligations, deadlines, notices, and amendments.
- Assist with reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts related to the development, construction, upgrade and operation of cruise terminals and associated assets.
- Support cross‑functional teams (Business Development, Finance, Procurement) ensuring legal compliance, risk mitigation and alignment with the group’s strategic objectives.
- Coordinate and manage external counsel, consolidating instructions, monitoring progresses and reviewing legal deliverables.

Your Journey so far
- Law degree. LLM or other post-graduate qualification is an advantage.
- Bar admission in a European or common‑law jurisdiction.
- 5/7 years of experience in a law firm or in‑house, ideally with exposure to M&A, corporate, commercial or infrastructure‑related matters. Experience or academic exposure to maritime, port development, PPP/concessions or construction is an advantage.
Your Essentials
- Excellent command of written and spoken English; additional languages (Spanish, Italian, French) is an advantage.
- Ability to organize, prioritize and manage deadlines, in a fast paced, rapidly evolving industry and international work environment.
- High attention to detail.
- Can do attitude, proactive, adaptable, eager to learn, with strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Solid command of MS Office and familiarity with legal research tools; solid knowledge of AI and legal related software is an advantage.
