Your Purpose

As a Global Sourcing Manager you will define and execute strategic sourcing initiatives for diverse procurement categories directly impacting guest satisfaction aboard MSC Cruises. Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers you will drive cost efficiency quality improvement and sustainability while supporting innovative product development. This role is based in (Geneva).

Your Impact

Develop and deploy sourcing strategies across a wide range of product categories including hotel textiles cleaning detergents and more focusing on price management supplier optimisation and risk mitigation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Development Supply Chain Finance Legal and suppliers to align sourcing strategies with business objectives. Lead supplier tenders to achieve cost savings enhance product quality and promote sustainability in alignment with MSC Cruises' values. Analyse and optimise sourcing processes implementing tools such as templates evaluation grids and market analysis frameworks. Develop and maintain supplier segmentation and relationship management strategies (SRM) fostering long-term partnerships with key suppliers. Innovate sourcing practices by introducing new ideas and solutions that support company-wide objectives.

Your Journey so far

You hold a Degree in Business Supply Chain Engineering or a related field. You have 10+ years of experience in sourcing with at least 3 years in a managerial role handling global category sourcing in FMCG or equivalent industries. You have thrived in complex fast-paced environments delivering results amid ambiguity and uncertainty. You have successfully led high-impact sourcing initiatives contributing to cost efficiency quality enhancement and sustainability.

Your Essentials

Expertise in strategic sourcing and category management including proficiency in supplier negotiation contract frameworks and SLAs. Proven ability to analyse data generate insights and make informed decisions under challenging circumstances. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across a matrix organisation. Fluency in English is mandatory any other language is a plus. Proactive and detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ability to work effectively with global teams driving alignment and achieving shared goals.
