Sport Coach

As a Sport Coach with MSC Cruises, you'll lead exciting sports activities and fitness programs for guests of all ages. Your mission is to promote a healthy lifestyle, teamwork, and fun through engaging sports sessions in a vibrant and inclusive environment. From group games to personal coaching, your role helps guests stay active, feel good, and make lasting memories during their cruise experience. 

Your Impact

As a key member of the Entertainment team, you will create opportunities for guests to connect through movement, improve their skills, and enjoy a wide variety of recreational activities. Your guidance ensures a safe, inclusive, and enthusiastic atmosphere that enhances guest satisfaction and supports MSC Cruises’ dedication to well-being and quality leisure time. Whether it’s organizing a friendly match, teaching tennis basics, or coaching a fitness challenge, you’ll make fitness approachable and enjoyable for everyone on board. 

Your Journey So Far

We are looking for a confident and experienced sports professional who brings: 

• Proven experience in a similar position on board or within the sports, hospitality, or fitness industry 

• A minimum Level 3 Tennis coaching qualification and Level 2 Sports Coaching qualification 

• A degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, or related field (preferred) 

• A successful track record coaching a variety of sports (e.g., football, basketball, tennis, volleyball, etc.) 

• At least two years’ experience delivering high-quality sports instruction 

• Experience working with guests of all ages and skill levels in group and one-to-one settings 

Your Essentials

To exceed you need to: 

• Fluent spoken and written English; additional European languages are a plus 

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills 

• Minimum age 21 y.o. 

• Knowledge of safety procedures in sports and fitness activities 

• Confident in using basic IT tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, or MAC) 

• Creative in organizing tournaments, games, and events 

• Physically fit and energetic, with the ability to motivate others 

• A genuine passion for sports, wellness, and delivering outstanding guest experiences
