Your Purpose
MSC Cruises, the world’s third largest cruise line brand, is expanding its Accounting team in the USA. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Staff Accountant will be responsible for full-cycle accounting tasks and ensure a timely month-end close.
This is a hybrid position requiring 4 days per week in the office, in Fort Lauderdale.
Your Impact
- Full-cycle accounting and assisting with the month-end close process.
- Prepare GL entries by maintaining records and files.
- Reconcile various GL Accounts including schedule preparation and analysis.
- Assist in budget and forecast preparation and analysis, as needed.
- Prepare various financial reports by department, month, quarter, etc.
- Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and assisting team.
- Worked on reconciliation process between various systems within the organization.
- Maintain tracker of corporate credit cards expenditures.
- Participate in the migration from legacy ERP systems to SAP, including data validation, system configuration testing, and reconciliation between old and new systems.
- Other tasks/projects assigned by management, as needed.

Skills / Requirements:
- Fluent English (oral and written skills)
- 2–4 years of accounting experience, ideally in a large corporate or Big Four environment
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting (CPA or equivalent strongly preferred)
- Microsoft Excel proficient
- Familiarity with SAP (preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of organization through various forms
- Extremely organized and detail oriented
- Performs other job-related functions as assigned
