Your Purpose

The Accountant reports to the Accounting Manager and assists in managing the day-to-day financial operations, manages medium complexity issues while escalating the high complexity ones.
The Accountant also develops monthly financial statements regarding the company’s profits, loss statements and balance sheets.

Your Impact

• Maintain accounts receivable, document bills and supporting documentation.
• Maintain accounts payable, ensure timely payment of invoices, confirming validity of the debt and gathering appropriate signatures.
• Update financial records via accounting software.
• Gather payroll expenses and input into appropriate entry line.
• Analyze financial statements and support on cash flows assessment. 

Your Journey so far

• Experience with accounting software and data entry.
• Excellent understanding of Italian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (ITA GAAP).
• MS Excel skills, experience with Navision and/or Tagetik is an advantage.
• Knowledge and understanding of IAS/IFRS, VAT and Tax regulation.
• Ability to work independently.

• Good organizational skills, ability to prioritize and follow-up.
• Good communication skills: ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve problems.
• Fluent English and Italian; any additional language is an advantage.
• Legal right to work in Italy.
