Your Purpose
Join MSC Cruises for an exciting internship focused on analytics, performance tracking, and insight generation across two strategic areas: Customer Journey and Our best Programme.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about data analysis, insights generation, and dashboard creation, with a strong interest in improving employee and guest experience through measurable impact.
You will support the development of structured analysis, and follow‑up mechanisms, working closely with Customer Journey and HR department. The role provides hands‑on exposure to both guest‑focused and employee‑focused analytics.
Your Impact
Customer journey:
- Support recurring Customer Journey analyses, including canvas‑based reviews, mid‑season ship‑by‑ship analyses, and committee deliverables.
- Contribute to ad‑hoc deep‑dive analyses on specific topics, guest segments, nationalities, or ships, based on business and management requests.
- Prepare data extractions, charts, tables, and first‑level analytical outputs using standardised templates.
- Maintain Customer Journey analysis trackers, ensuring proper documentation, version control, and monitoring of action plans.
- Support follow‑up analyses and updates after pilots, operational changes, or management feedback.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and alignment across Customer Journey deliverables and reporting.
Our BEST programme:
- Support the development, maintenance, and tracking of KPI frameworks for the OUR BEST programme.
- Consolidate and analyse data from multiple sources, including employee engagement surveys, OUR BEST feedback, training NPS, and relevant guest indicators.
- Build, update, and maintain dashboards to monitor programme performance, engagement, and impact over time.
- Produce regular performance reports and structured executive summaries for leadership reviews.
- Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and reporting standards across all OUR BEST analytics outputs.
- Support the preparation of data visualisations and storytelling materials for senior stakeholders.
Your Journey so far
- Degree (or currently enrolled) in Business, Data Analytics, Hospitality, or a related field
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of dashboarding tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate data into structured insights
- Fluent in English

Basic understanding of guest satisfaction metrics and NPS
Basic understanding of employee engagement metrics
- Experience with data visualisation and reporting tools
- Interest in customer journey, guest experience, and service improvement
- Familiarity with survey data analysis and open‑comment analysis
