Your Purpose

MSC Cruises is strengthening its Privacy Function to support global privacy operations across the Cruise Division, with a particular focus on Data Subject Requests (DSRs), personal data breach management, and core operational privacy activities.
We are looking for a Privacy Analyst to support the DSR & Data Breach Unit in the day-to-day management of privacy cases, documentation, reporting, and internal coordination.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in privacy, incident management, and global regulatory compliance within an international environment.

Your Impact

• Support day-to-day management of Data Subject Requests (DSRs) and personal data breach activities.
• Support case handling activities and assist with collecting information required for assessments and investigations.
• Manage and update cases in case management and workflow tools.
• Ensure privacy records, documentation, and operational trackers are accurate and maintained appropriately.
• Support preparation of reports, metrics, and operational documentation.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to collect required information and support case resolution activities.
• Support maintenance and continuous improvement of privacy procedures and internal documentation.
• Perform additional privacy-related operational activities where required.

Your Journey so far

We welcome candidates with different backgrounds and levels of experience. The role may suit candidates from two complementary backgrounds: early-career privacy/legal/cyber profiles and operational case-management profiles.
Preferred profile may include:

• 0–3+ years of experience in privacy, legal, compliance, cyber security, customer operations, case management or similar environments.
• Recent graduates with a strong interest in privacy and data protection are encouraged to apply.
• Degree in Law, Business Administration, Cyber Security, Information Technology or a related field.
• Experience in data protection, customer case handling or operational process management is considered an advantage.

Examples of relevant backgrounds include:

Profile A – Privacy / Legal / Cyber track

• Law, paralegal, privacy, cyber security or IT background
• Interest in data protection, privacy compliance and regulatory topics
• Exposure to digital technologies or risk/compliance topics considered beneficial

Profile B – Operations / Case Management track

• Customer operations, contact center, administrative or case management background
• Experience in handling workflows, tickets, customer requests or operational cases
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Your Essentials

• Basic understanding of, or strong interest in, privacy and data protection topics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Good organizational and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with case management or workflow tools (e.g. ServiceNow) is considered an advantage.
• Fluency in English and Italian; additional languages are considered an asset.
• Willingness to undertake occasional business travel.
• EU Passport.
