Job Purpose

The IT Business Analyst gathers and analyzes business requirements, and drafts functional designs to deliver large-scale corporate software implementations.

Key Accountabilities

  • Understand and map current and future workflows, document current and future state processes 
  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and produce documentation 
  • Provides consulting services designed to solve the most complex business and technology issues on our systems  
  • Collaborates with Product Owners and development teams to transform requirements into efficient system solutions, ensuring quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness
         

Qualifications

• 5 or more years of proven experience in the role, supporting medium to large size projects; 

• 2 or 3 years of proven experience on project management; 

• Proven expertise in guiding teams with AGILE methodologies and mastery of AGILE principles and practices (SCRUM, KANBAN and SAFe certifications are a plus); 

• Proven experience and subject matter expertise in business/systems analysis in any 1 of the following functions – Inventory Management, Flights Management, Booking funnel for eCommerce, Order taking, Service Delivery; 

• Excellent understanding of one of the following industry: cruise, transportation or leisure; 

• Great communication skills to relate to and communicate clearly with business and technical stakeholders; 

• Solid process and workflow mapping experience; 

• Strong knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP); 

• Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies; 

• Bachelor's degree required, degree in Computer Science Engineering (or equivalent); 

• Fluent in English both oral and written, Italian is a preference;  

• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, strong critical thinker with problem solving aptitude; 

• Excellent communication skills with ability to exemplify the technical aspect of a solution.

What we offer

In compliance with the applicable pay transparency legislation, the following information is provided regarding the initial compensation foreseen for the position.


Contract 
-    Type of contract: Permanent
-    Hybrid working model: 2 days per week remotely
-    Applicable Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL): “Addetti agli uffici ed ai terminals delle società di navigazione che esercitano l’armamento privato” – sez. personale di terra
-    Gross annual salary (RAL): between €38.000 – €45.000 gross per year, paid over 14 monthly installments
-    Meal vouchers: worth €8 per on-site working day
The offer in terms of salary will be determined based on the candidate’s professional experience, technical competencies, and the level of autonomy and responsibility assigned to the role.
