Job Purpose
We are looking for an IT Senior System Specialist to maintain and improve our Guest processes, Onboard platforms and their integrated systems.
He/She will take care of our Onboard platform in Data Configuration, Operational Reporting, Analysis, Troubleshooting and Support for onboard business such as: Onboard Finance, Shorex, Guest, Crew, Safety, Security, Housekeeping, F&B, SPA, etc.
The Senior System Specialist oversees and maintains production and testing systems; schedules legacy systems operations; monitors output and report distribution, performs a variety of tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility collaborating with Corporate, Managers and other IT Specialists.
Key Accountabilities
- Analysis and elicitation of functional and non-functional requirements for Onboard platforms and their integrated systems.
- Gives support in planning, managing and delivering Onboard platforms and their integrated systems;
- Gives support in defining solutions aligned to business requirements;
- Ensure and overseeing all systems setting activities related to new buildings operations;
- Supports business for the updating, testing and measurement of the products evolution added to the systems;
- Set ups and update the PMS onboard through a steady maintenance interdepartmentally (Guest and Crew Service, Excursion, Spa, Finance, Retail, F&B, Dining, Safety and Security);
- Provides assistance and advice to the on-board departments involved in PMS settings;
Qualifications
- Experience in Cruise Industry (focus on Hotel Operations);
- At least 3 years’ hands-on experience in similar roles or equivalent experiences with IT Applications for Cruise Lines;
- Working knowledges of onboard PMS Systems and Ship Warehouse process (Otalio SPMS, Oracle SPMS, Oracle MMS, Crunchtime or similar);
- Oracle, SQL/MySQL database Language skills;
- Knowledge of programming languages for operational reporting (e.g., JasperReports)
- Knowledge of programming languages (Python, JavaScript or similar) is a plus;
- Knowledge of Automation and Reporting Tools (PowerAutomate, PowerBi, PowerApp) is a plus;
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a timely manner;
- Good inter-personal and communication skills;
- Good organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills;
- Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work in a dynamic environment;
- Availability to travel and outside region residencies;
- Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent);
- Fluent English and Italian. (spoken and written)

WHAT WE OFFER
In compliance with the applicable pay transparency legislation, the following information is provided regarding the initial compensation foreseen for the position.
Contract
• Type of contract: Permanent
• Hybrid working model: 2 days per week remotely
• Applicable Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL): “Addetti agli uffici ed ai terminals delle società di navigazione che esercitano l’armamento privato” – sez. personale di terra
• Gross annual salary (RAL): between €32.000 – €39.000 gross per year, paid over 14 monthly installments
• Meal vouchers: worth €8 per on-site working day
The offer in terms of salary will be determined based on the candidate’s professional experience, technical competencies, and the level of autonomy and responsibility assigned to the role.
