Job Purpose

Support CIDO cost governance by managing budget, monitoring financial performance, and ensuring accurate reporting across IT portfolios.

Key Accountabilities

•    Support budget planning and forecasting activities ensuring alignment with approved investment targets
•    Monitor IT portfolio costs including CapEx and OpEx ensuring adherence to approved budgets
•    Track project expenditures, commitments, accruals, and variances ensuring financial transparency
•    Manage purchase orders and vendor costs including creation, tracking, and reconciliation
•    Ensure timely tracking and reconciliation of invoices and vendor-related financial commitments
•    Support preparation of financial reports and portfolio cost dashboards
•    Support budget reviews ensuring compliance with IT financial governance processes
•    Maintain accuracy and consistency of financial data across systems
•    Collaborate with Finance and IT stakeholders to ensure alignment of financial data
•    Identify cost variances and support corrective actions

Qualifications

  • At least 3–5 years in IT controlling, finance, or cost management;
  • Experience in multinational, enterprise environments, within IT departments are preferred;
  • Fluent English and Italian required;
  • PC Skills: Advanced Excel; knowledge of SAP, Tagetik, or Power BI is a plus;
  • Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or similar;
  • Competency in: Financial Analysis and Cost Control, Budget Planning and Forecasting, Data Accuracy and Reporting, Stakeholder Coordination;

WHAT WE OFFER

In compliance with the applicable pay transparency legislation, the following information is provided regarding the initial compensation foreseen for the position.


Contract 
•    Type of contract: Permanent
•    Applicable Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL): “Addetti agli uffici ed ai terminals delle società di navigazione che esercitano l’armamento privato” – sez. personale di terra
•    Gross annual salary (RAL): between €28.000 – €35.000 gross per year, paid over 14 monthly installments
•    Meal vouchers: worth €8 per on-site working day
The offer in terms of salary will be determined based on the candidate’s professional experience, technical competencies, and the level of autonomy and responsibility assigned to the role.
