Your Purpose

Are you driven by turning complex data into clear, actionable insight?

Do you thrive at the intersection of analytics, strategy, and product innovation, translating numbers, trends, and spatial constraints into smarter decisions for next-generation ships?

We are seeking a Product Innovation Manager – New Builds Analytics to act as the central analytical authority across all new build programmes. This role will own the quantitative foundation of product innovation—bringing rigour, structure, and clarity to space allocation, performance modelling, and concept evaluation.

You will partner cross-functionally with Experience, Revenue, Design, Newbuild, and Operations teams to understand requirements, challenge assumptions, and synthesise complex inputs into clear, decision-ready insights. Acting as the single source of truth for innovation-related data, you will maintain and evolve the repository of spaces, concepts, and performance benchmarks for future ships.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong consulting background, exceptional analytical capability, and the presence to guide senior stakeholders through complex, data-driven decisions.

Your Impact

Data Ownership & Analytical Leadership

  • Own and manage the full analytical framework for new build product innovation, including space allocation (square metres), performance metrics, and benchmarking.
  • Own the end-to-end governance of onboard space allocation (square metres), ensuring consistency, traceability, and alignment across all stakeholders.
  • Act as the central point of expertise for all quantitative analyses related to new ship concepts and venue planning.
  • Build, maintain, and continuously improve models that support decision-making across concept development and prioritisation.

Space & Concept Optimisation

  • Lead the allocation and optimisation of onboard space, balancing guest experience, revenue potential, and operational constraints.
  • Analyse trade-offs across concepts, ensuring optimal use of available space aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Support scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis to inform key design and investment decisions.
  • Provide quantitative input into major design and investment decisions, directly influencing ship configuration and commercial performance.

Industry / Market Research & Strategy

  • Monitor industry trends, competitive developments, and evolving guest expectations to identify opportunities for future ship innovation.
  • Conduct market and competitive benchmarking to assess new concepts, onboard experiences, and space allocation strategies.
  • Translate external insights and internal performance data into strategic recommendations that inform new build priorities and product roadmaps.

Cross-Functional Insight Gathering

  • Liaise with multiple departments (Revenue, Operations, F&B, Entertainment, Retail, Technical, and Design) to gather requirements and inputs.
  • Translate diverse stakeholder needs into structured analytical frameworks and comparable metrics.
  • Challenge inputs constructively to ensure consistency, accuracy, and strategic alignment.

Knowledge Management & Repository Ownership

  • Own and maintain the central repository of new build concepts, venues, and associated performance data.
  • Establish a structured compendium of spaces, including benchmarks, learnings, and evolution over time.
  • Ensure accessibility, consistency, and clarity of data across the organisation.

Synthesis & Decision Support

  • Transform complex datasets into clear insights and recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Prepare high-impact materials that support executive decision-making, ensuring clarity, rigour, and strategic relevance.
  • Combine quantitative data with qualitative insights to drive well-rounded recommendations.

Workshops & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Facilitate workshops with cross-functional stakeholders to align on assumptions, evaluate concepts, and define requirements.
  • Structure discussions to ensure productive outcomes, clear decisions, and alignment across functions.
  • Demonstrate strong executive presence in presenting and defending analytical outcomes.

Your Journey so far

  • 5–8 years of experience in management consulting, strategy, analytics, or business design, ideally with exposure to complex, multi-stakeholder environments. Cruise ship and hospitality experience are 3a must.
  • Exceptional analytical skillset, with proven ability to structure complex problems and synthesise large amounts of data into clear insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel required; experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualisation tools preferred.
  • Strong experience in quantitative modelling, scenario analysis, and performance benchmarking.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and interpret space-related data (e.g. square metre allocation, capacity planning, utilisation modelling).
  • Experience working across multiple stakeholders, with strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous inputs into structured frameworks and actionable outputs.
  • Proven experience facilitating workshops and aligning diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present to senior and executive audiences.
  • High level of ownership and organisation, with the ability to manage complex data repositories.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Ability to travel 20-30% of the time.

Your Essentials

  • EU Passport or right to work in Switzerland.
