Your Purpose

MSC Cruise Management UK is looking for a driven UK or EU Qualified Legal Counsel, Contracts, to support a broad range of contracting activities across the business. The role focuses on the preparation, review, negotiation and ongoing management of agreements, while providing practical legal guidance to stakeholders on contractual matters arising from day-to-day operations.

Your Impact

•    Drafts, reviews and negotiates a broad range of agreements, including third-party vendor contracts, Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Letter of Intent (LOIs), side letters, amendments and other commercial arrangements.
•    Provides timely and practical legal advice on contractual rights, obligations and risk-related matters.
•    Partners with teams across the organisation to provide practical legal guidance and support business objectives.
•    Assists with legal matters relating to shipyards, suppliers, vessel maintenance projects and other operational activities.
•    Supports guarantee and warranty matters, including the preparation of notices and contractual correspondence.
•    Reviews and negotiates lease agreements and provide support on property-related matters.
•    Maintains and manages legal documentation within the contract management system.
•    Develops and maintains contract templates, guidance materials and internal processes, and deliver legal training to support consistency and best practices across the business.

Your Journey so far

•    UK or EU qualified lawyer with 4+ years' post-qualification experience.
•    Strong experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, including supplier agreements, MSAs, NDAs and other operational contracts.
•    Proven ability to provide pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice to business stakeholders.
•    Familiarity with disputes and contractual correspondence relating to suppliers.
•    Strong stakeholder management, drafting and communication skills.
•    Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment.
•    Experience in the cruise, maritime, shipping, transport, engineering or other asset-intensive sectors would be advantageous.
