Your Purpose

MSC Cruises, the world's third-largest cruise line, is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Revenue Accounting Coordinator (Contractor) to provide comprehensive support to the Revenue Accounting department across daily financial and operational activities. This role will assist the department with a variety of Revenue Accounting functions, including researching and processing refunds, responding to service requests, assisting with chargeback and claims resolution, maintaining treasury activity logs, and supporting commission-related processes. The position requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring transactions and requests are handled accurately, timely, and in accordance with established policies and internal controls.

This is an in-office role requiring 4 days onsite in Fort Lauderdale, FL 

Your Impact

• Chargebacks: Research and respond to chargebacks, gather supporting documentation, monitor deadlines, and maintain accurate records of chargeback activity and outcomes.
• Service Request Tickets: Monitor, research, and respond to Salesforce/Siebel SRs and other departmental inquiries. Ensure cases are properly documented, tracked, and resolved within established SLAs.
• Claims: Review, research, and process customer and agency claims; coordinate with internal departments to resolve outstanding issues and ensure timely completion.
• Treasury Log: Maintain and update the daily Treasury Log, ensuring cash movements, chargebacks, and other relevant financial activity are accurately recorded and reconciled.
• Refunds: Research refund exceptions, discrepancies, and failed transactions. Review booking and payment history and manually process refunds or corrections when necessary, in accordance with company policies and established procedures.
• Groups Commission: Assist with group commission processing, including researching commission-related discrepancies and supporting the timely resolution of commission inquiries
• Additional Revenue Support: Provide support across the broader Revenue Department, assisting with various operational and financial functions as needed to support daily operations, departmental priorities, and business needs.

Your Journey so far

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered
• 1–2 years of experience in revenue operations or a similar role preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments
• Comfortable working in transactional finance environments with high volumes.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
