As a Junior Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, you will assist onboard Food and Beverage management in ensuring the designated job duties are always completed correctly and promptly according to our company standards, policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

• Helps prepare the cocktail parties and events and other functions as directed by the Bar Manager.
• Helps load food and beverage items with a specific focus on providing a check-and-balance between received products, invoice quantities, and the final PDF before the Hotel Inventory Manager signature.
• Helps inspect received goods for appropriate quantity and quality as time permits.
• Regularly helps the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager prepare and update all Food and Beverage maintenance logs and technical defects.
• Accurately and timely prepares all revenue tracking reports as directed by the Food and Beverage Director and shoreside guidelines.
• Regularly prepares the End-Of-Cruise Bar Reporting Form for senior Food and Beverage Management.
• Collaborates with the Bar Supervisor in charge to ensure soda vending machines around all crew areas are posted and reconciled correctly.
• Timely and accurately creates taxation reports, bar operations database reports, bar reporting forms, etc., for the Bar Manager to review before submitting to shoreside offices.
• Invoice picklists, in conjunction with the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager.
• Helps ensure that all operational Food and Beverage areas are adequately staffed to meet service demand.
• Enthusiastically performs some food and beverage preparation or other service tasks when necessary, including cooking, clearing tables, and serving food or beverages.
• Conducts the Crew Cambusa Sales and accurately enters data into the Cambusa database per policies and procedures.
• Constantly communicates with passengers during rounds to ensure overall passenger satisfaction; provides regular feedback to the Food Manager or Bar Manager.
• Assists both the Food Manager and Bar Manager in conducting staff training sessions when required.
• Provides valuable, fair, and appropriate feedback on personnel to help operational managers complete, accurate appraisals.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years’ experience in a Food & Beverage management position or related Hotel/ Hospitality field. Preferably a graduate of a recognized hotel/catering/culinary school.
• Experience and knowledge in beverage operations, food production, and restaurant service within the hotel/cruise ship operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer literacy in MS Office programs.
