Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for creating draft schedules for all departments’ guest facing Events & Activities in alignment with established deadlines and presents these schedules to the responsible onboard departments for approval or modification.
  • Effectively enters and maintains voyage and event schedules for both current future voyages in HOST.
  • Responsible for ensuring all published current and future events are accurately reflected in the OCEAN Events Management System (OEM) for display on Journeyview Portals and in the MedallionClass App.
  • Accountable for and takes ownership of a consistent product delivery and correctly applies the Service Excellence philosophy.
  • Updates OEM and HOST daily with all additional changes after export.
  • Embraces the Princess MedallionClass experience, products, services and applications. Performs Navigator duties at OceanFront when required.
  • Consistently meets established deadlines and works collaboratively with onboard and shoreside. Meets deadlines and reports progress to Shoreside stakeholders.
  • Monitors and administers Event Reservation Systems, ensuring functionality and incorporation into shipboard operations.
  • Validates, on behalf of Brand, any changes, enhancements or new software builds for all Entertainment Medallion Experiences as needed.
  • Participates in regular updates with shoreside Brand SME and acts as onboard liaison.
  • Monitors all related operating systems and MedallionClass experiences, identifying opportunities for streamlining operational efficiencies.
  • Continuous collaboration with onboard leadership regarding all onboard activity schedules to ensure optimum balance across guest experiences and identifying potential conflicts.
  • Collaborates with Entertainment Director, and Brand and Business Director to ensure revenue generating events are not in conflict.
  • Monitors functionality of Portals and MedallionClass App reporting any issues to appropriate IT personnel.
  • Embraces an inclusive and diverse culture, instills our Shared Purpose, Core Values and CRUISE service essentials.
  • Shares best practices and efficiencies with the Entertainment leadership team and colleagues.
  • Embraces Company updates and strategies to deliver on our guest experience commitment.
  • Confidently performs General Emergency Procedure’s and duties as directed by HESS.
  • Collaborates with persons in charge to create a safe and compliant environment while fostering a commitment to Operation Oceans Alive.
  • Complies with company expectations and standards, including HESS policies.
  • Promptly helps coordinate onboard resources to respond to outbreak situations that necessitate increased sanitation levels.

 Qualifications: 

  • Applicants must have at least 3 years' related experience in the areas of Entertainment and event scheduling.
  • Thorough knowledge of Event Reservation Systems or Events Management Systems
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt in a large multinational team.

Work Experience Requirements

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Cruise Ship, in a 4/5* Hotel or in an Upscale Restaurant.

Language Requirements

Good knowledge of the English language is required.
