Carnival UK is hosting an open recruitment day on Monday 18th and Tuesday 19th July from 9 am to 6 pm in Lisbon, Portugal to meet and interview potential Galley candidates. They are currently hiring for two of their industry leading cruise line brands, Cunard and P&O.

As a Chef de Partie/Demi Chef de Partie for Carnival UK, you will be expected to:
- Follow all instructions given by the head chef.
- Work as part of the kitchen team to guarantee high-quality food and service.
- Maintain a safe and sanitary workspace.
- Prepare food items and dish components specific to your station.
- Motivate, lead, and monitor a small team
- Follow and meet all relevant food hygiene standards.
- Take inventory and order supplies for your station.
- Improve your performance based on feedback.
- Assist other kitchen teams when needed.
We are looking for skilled and motivated cooks to join our cruise ship teams. You need to be disciplined, and dedicated to delivering a consistent and high-quality culinary experience on a large scale. Being highly organized, structured, and attentive to detail in every aspect of your work is a must.
Requirements:
Culinary diploma, certificate, or equivalent qualification.
Necessary food preparation and safety qualifications.
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in the role.
Strong command of English, written and spoken.
Experience working in 4/5 dining establishments or large scale banquets.
Experience working on cruise ships is ideal but not essential.
