JOB PURPOSE
According to the Raj Team Room concept specifications, the Tea Master provides an excellent guest drinking experience and ensures the profitability of the assigned part of the bar.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Focus on tea education, explain menu items to guests, and attempt to ensure that guests are comfortable and satisfiedHelping guests be aware of and choose menu items, taking orders and making guests feel taken care of during their visitComprehensive knowledge of tea flavour profiles, origins, preparation, and presentationOversee the venue's day-to-day operation and other bar staff workEvidence in good salesmanship
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/specific studies or certifications – TeaSommelier or Tea MasterExperience in/or similar role at least of 3 yearsLanguages - English, second is preferredCalm and courteous even under pressureAble to operate, clean and maintain all ranges of Tea infusing units
Commitment to guest satisfaction and excellent customer service
Willingness to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment
To be able to carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held device
The ability to work well with other people and adapt to any change
VISA REQUIREMENTS
Possess a valid passport and when possible a seaman book copySTCW certification is compulsory (basic fire fighting, personal survival techniques, elementary first aid, personal security and social responsibility)A recognised medical certification is also required before starting to work on board
STCW Certificates

Language Requirements
Good knowledge of the English language is required.

This massive project is already well under way.
